Sopore, July 23 (JKNS): The 313 Blood Donors Kashmir Volunteers Trust, in collaboration with the Tehsil Legal Services Committee Sopore and GMC Baramulla, organized a blood donation camp on Wednesday at the Court Complex Sopore.
According to details available with JKNS, the camp saw enthusiastic participation from the legal community and local administration. Chief Judicial Magistrate/Sub-Judge and Chairman of the Tehsil Legal Services Authority, Mir Wajahat, along with Usman Khurshid (DMMT/Munsif Sopore), also donated blood.
The event was graced by ADC Sopore S.A. Raina, SHO Sopore Iftikhar Ahmad, Bar Association President Faisal Jan Anim, Vice President Manzoor Ahmad Gazii, General Secretary Adv. Sameer Ahmad Dar, and other dignitaries.
Approximately 80 blood units were collected, with organizers aiming for a target of 100. Both male and female donors participated in the drive.
“It’s a commendable initiative and a vital step towards saving lives,” said one of the volunteers. (JKNS)
