Advocate Haamid Bhat Slams Blame Politics, Calls for Merit-Based Leadership in Baramulla.

Baramulla:03/Jan/2026

Prominent public figure from Baramulla, Advocate Haamid Bhat, has strongly criticized the ongoing blame games among political parties in the Baramulla constituency, terming them as counterproductive, irresponsible, and detrimental to public interest. He urged all political leaders to immediately abandon politics of accusation and focus on serious, result-oriented discussions on overall development.

Advocate Haamid Bhat stated that the people of Baramulla are no longer misled by slogans, emotional rhetoric, or hollow promises. He asserted that a decisive shift has taken place, and the time has come when representatives will be elected strictly on merit, integrity, and proven performance, not on political theatrics or blame politics.

He made it clear that the forthcoming leadership in Baramulla must function in complete accordance with the wishes, aspirations, and mandate of the people, warning that any representative who ignores public will or fails to deliver on ground realities will be rejected outright.

Launching a sharp attack on political infighting, Advocate Bhat said that continuous mudslinging has paralyzed governance, diverting attention from grave issues such as unemployment, deteriorating infrastructure, administrative failures, and neglect of public welfare. He called upon political stakeholders to show maturity, accountability, and a concrete developmental roadmap, rather than indulging in self-serving narratives.

Concluding his statement, Advocate Haamid Bhat emphasized that the people of Baramulla are politically awakened, vigilant, and uncompromising. He warned that the era of deception and non-performance is over, making it clear that only people-centric, merit-driven, and accountable leadership will earn the trust and mandate of Baramulla.
