Aga Syed Muntazir Expresses Serious Concern Over Dog Menace; Writes to DC Budgam

Budgam : 15 sep

Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi has expressed grave concern over the rising dog menace in Budgam and its adjacent villages.

In a statement issued today, Aga Muntazir termed the incidents “deeply disturbing” and said that the menace has become a threat to the safety and well-being of people in the area. “Public safety cannot be compromised. The incidents of stray dogs attacking innocent people, particularly children, have created a sense of fear and insecurity in Budgam town and nearby villages. This needs urgent and coordinated action from the administration,” Aga Muntazir said.

In his letter to the DC Budgam, he urged him to address the menace. He stressed that piecemeal measures are no longer enough and that a sustained, scientific approach is needed to control the growing stray dog population.
