Baramulla, Mar 16: Ayaz Darwi, State General Secretary (Org) of Janata Dal (United) JKUT, has welcomed the initiative of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for handing over appointment letters to the next of kin of terror victims and deceased government employees in Jammu & Kashmir.
In a statement issued here, Darwi termed the move as a historic and humanitarian step aimed at supporting families who have suffered due to terrorism or the loss of their breadwinners while in government service. He said the decision reflects the administration’s commitment to ensure dignity, stability, and financial security for the affected families.
Darwi stated that providing government employment to the families of victims is a significant measure that will help them rebuild their lives and strengthen their confidence in the system. He appreciated the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for prioritizing the welfare of such families.
He further added that initiatives like these contribute to strengthening peace, social justice, and trust between the administration and the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
Darwi reiterated that Janata Dal (United) will continue to support all measures aimed at the welfare and upliftment of the people of the Union Territory.
