Call for Restraint and Responsible Criticism in Public Discourse : Waqar H Bhatti

✒️:. Waqar H Bhatti

Over the past few days, some individuals have used harsh and inappropriate language against Mirwaiz e Kashmir, Molvi Umar Farooq. Criticism is a legitimate right. Personal attacks cross an unacceptable line.

The law applies to everyone. If an organization is banned, its name cannot be used. This is a legal reality, not a matter of opinion.

At the same time, it is important to remember that Mirwaiz holds a senior religious position and has spent long periods under house arrest in the past. Words carry consequences.

We live in the same society. We face each other every day. Public discourse should reflect restraint, respect, and responsibility.
