Family Betrayal?Man Steals Rs 10 Lakh from Relative’s Shop in Srinagar

In a dramatic turn of events, Srinagar Police have cracked a theft case involving stolen cash worth Rs 10 lakhs. The accused, Umar Ahmad Mir of Karnah, was arrested after technical evidence and CCTV footage linked him to the crime. Shockingly, the victim, Tauseef Ahmad Mir of Kaksarai, is reportedly a relative, raising questions of betrayal within the family. Police recovered Rs 7.5 lakhs, a scooty, and a mobile phone bought with the stolen money. Further investigation is underway.
