FMCG Distributors and Manufacturers Association Kashmir (FMCGDMAK) attended a product launch event in Bandipora on the occasion of the introduction of a sanitary product brand, Clean and Shine. The event marked an important step towards promoting hygiene, quality manufacturing, and ethical business practices in the region.
On this occasion, Mr. Faheem Ahmad Gangoo, Chairman FMCGDMAK, along with Mr. Aadil Khan Durrani, President and Chief Spokesperson FMCGDMAK, Mr. Parvaiz Packchiwal, Vice President FMCGDMAK, and Mr. Aashiq Hussain Bhat, Financial Advisor FMCGDMAK, were invited as chief guests. Their presence reflected the Association’s growing role as a key stakeholder in the FMCG sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the gathering, FMCGDMAK leadership emphasized the urgent need for ethical, transparent, and responsible business practices. They referred to recent incidents involving unhygienic and substandard food and consumer products that have caused serious concern among the general public of Kashmir. The Association stated that only those companies that demonstrate sincerity, honesty, regulatory compliance, and commitment to public health deserve encouragement and market support.
FMCGDMAK reiterated its commitment to support and promote companies that follow ethical trade practices, ensure product quality, and maintain a healthy and transparent supply chain. The Association stressed that such efforts safeguard consumer interests and strengthen trust within the business ecosystem. It firmly believes that ethical business conduct forms the foundation of sustainable economic growth and long term market stability.
The Association also urged the youth of Kashmir to engage in small and medium scale entrepreneurial ventures. It highlighted that self employment provides economic independence and builds responsibility, law abiding behavior, and accountability towards society. FMCGDMAK noted that responsible entrepreneurship helps prevent unethical and unlawful practices.
FMCGDMAK reaffirmed its commitment to promoting fair trade practices, protecting the interests of distributors, traders, manufacturers, and consumers, and contributing to economic growth and business sustainability in Jammu and Kashmir.
