JK Teachers Forum Baramulla Organises One-Day Teachers Conference at Zone Boniyar

Boniyar Bla 3 Jan…///Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum Baramulla organised a one-day Teachers Conference at Zone Boniyar, which was held at Government Middle School Boniyar. The conference witnessed great enthusiasm and active participation from teachers representing various institutions across the zone.

The programme was attended by the senior leadership of JKTF, including State Vice Chairman JKTF Mr. Ghulam Ahmad Mir, District President JKTF Baramulla, Mr. Farooq Hussain Dar, Vice President JKTF Baramulla, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Wani, District Patron, Mr. Haji Pervaiz Ahmad Dar,Mr Baidar Ahmad ZP Tangmarg, Mr. Syed Malik ZP Fatehgarh, Mr. Gh. Nabi ZP Chandoosa, Mr Khursheed Ahmad ZP Nehalpora, Mr Tahir ul Rehman Patron JKTF Boniyar, Mr. Reyaz Ahmad Rather Press Secretary JKTF Chandoosa, Mr. Mehraj Sofi Executive Member, Mr. Mohammad Eqbal, Mr Showket Nazir District Organizer JKTF Bla, Mr Khalid Tilgami Press sect and Mr Peerzada Tanveer Ahmad along with the zonal leadership of JKTF Boniyar and scores of teachers from the zone.

The primary objective of the conference was to highlight the pivotal role of teachers at the grassroots level, promote student centric education and emphasize the urgent need for unity and unification of the teaching fraternity under one strong, credible and representative platform.

Addressing the gathering District President JKTF Baramulla Mr. Farooq Hussain Dar highlighted the vital role of teachers in nation-building and stressed that unity among teachers is the need of the hour. He reiterated that JKTF remains the only credible platform committed to safeguarding the rights, dignity, and welfare of the teaching community.

He appreciated the dedication and tireless efforts of teachers working under challenging conditions and assured them that JKTF will continue to raise their genuine issues at every appropriate forum.

He also congratulated Mr. Javid Iqbal Mir on his elevation to the Provincial Body of JKTF lauding his dedication leadership and valuable contribution to the teaching fraternity.

Mr. Farooq Hussain Dar further lauded the exemplary services rendered by former Principal BHS Boniyar Mr. Showket Ahmad Sherwani and ZEO Mr. Abdul Kareem Baloot describing them as role model officers whose commitment and lifelong contributions to the Department of Education remain commendable. He also congratulated Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad Teacher on his selection for a fellowship in Mumbai and hailed the services of retirees Mr Bashir Ahmad Sheikh Master and Nissar Hussain Shah Teacher who served the department with sincerity and devotion till their retirement.

Speaking on the occasion, State Vice Chairman JKTF Mr. Ghulam Ahmad Mir shared his lifelong memories associated with Zone Boniyar recalling his time of service alongside former Chairman Mr. Qayoom Wani and Mr. Rafique Rather.

He appreciated the zonal leadership of JKTF Boniyar for always standing firm in protecting the honour, dignity and rights of teachers and for their unwavering commitment to organizational values and unity.

The programme was hosted by Zonal President Mr Sajad Ahmad along with his team and was presided over by Mr. Irshad Ahmad Wani Chief Spokesperson JKTF Zone Boniyar. The vote of thanks was presented by Mr. Reyaz Ahmad Bhat Vice President JKTF Zone Boniyar who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, participants and organisers for making the conference a grand success.
