Karwani Islami and its followers place before the people of Kashmir their clear and responsible position regarding the false narrative and manufactured controversy against Allama Dr. Ghulam Rasool Hami Sahib.
The facts are straightforward.
In 2020, certain individuals working closely with Hami Sahib were exposed for involvement in a major financial fraud. When this fraud began to surface, the same individuals carried out a murderous attack on him.
During the attack, the assailants
• Entered his bedroom late at night
• Tied him with ropes
• Subjected him to severe physical assault
• Recorded a video of the crime
These are documented facts, not allegations.
Around one month ago, Hami Sahib addressed a press conference where he
• Responded to every allegation with evidence and logic
• Displayed photographs of the attack before the media
• Informed that, on the basis of this evidence, a competent court ordered registration of an FIR against the accused
• Placed all relevant facts and proofs in the public domain
In his most recent video statement, Hami Sahib openly challenged Sandeep Mawa to verify all claims through lawful means. He invited any government authority or administration to cross check his income, assets, land records, and financial matters. This was a transparent and lawful challenge.
Instead of accepting verification through official channels, Sandeep Mawa chose to evade scrutiny. He continued to make new and baseless allegations, indicating an attempt to divert attention and avoid accountability.
Yesterday, Sandeep Mawa publicly claimed that he possesses a video of Hami Sahib and announced his intention to release it. Karwani Islami categorically clarifies that this video is the same recording of the 2020 murderous attack, filmed by the accused themselves. Its repeated reference now serves only as intimidation, blackmail, and an attempt to create public unrest.
This is a deliberate conspiracy. Its objective is clear.

take strict legal action against Sandeep Mawa and all others involved in this conspiracy. This includes illegal possession, circulation, or threats to circulate criminal evidence. The law must act to protect truth, ensure justice, and permanently stop attempts to threaten, defame, or destabilize society.
