Strengthening Bonds: Grand Cluster-Level Parent–Teacher Meeting at GHSS Delina

Delina, Baramulla, August 9:
A grand cluster-level Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) was held today at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Delina, witnessing overwhelming participation from parents.

The programme began with a welcome address by Qazi Syed Sajad, followed by an enlightening session on the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 delivered by Resource Person Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad Lone, who particularly emphasized the vital role of parental involvement in ensuring the holistic educational development of children.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Shabir Ahmad Wani, addressed the large gathering of parents and teachers, underscoring the importance of community participation in strengthening the education system. He stressed that in the tripolar process of education, no single pillar can function effectively in isolation.

A special highlight of the event was an impressive skit presented by students, depicting constructive parent–teacher dialogues in schools. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Hilal Ahmad. The session was skillfully moderated by Insha Shafeeq and Snobar Altaf.

After the culmination of the programme, parents visited their respective stalls to review the academic progress of their wards. Teachers briefed them on achievements as well as areas needing improvement, while parents shared valuable suggestions, which were duly noted. Separate stalls were also set up for the cluster schools, enabling direct interaction between their teachers and parents.

The event was hailed as a great success, fostering stronger school–parent partnerships. The school administration expressed gratitude to all parents for their enthusiastic participation and encouraged them to continue visiting the school regularly to monitor their children’s progress and provide constructive feedback.
