The prestigious degree (Honoris Causa) was awarded in recognition of his contributions to the field of journalism.In another notable achievement, Syed Tajamul Islam has also been inducted as an active member of the World Human Rights Protection Commission (WHRPC), an international organization approved by the Government of the United States and the State of New York’s Department of State.
