“Umar Khan Foundation (NGO) Distributes Marriage Assistance Financial Aid to Future Brides”


Srinagar 25 May

Today Umar Khan Foundation Umar Colony Lal Bazar( N G O) distributed financial assistance worth Rs 30,000 each to seven deserving would be brides. Cheques were given away to the duly verified marraigeable female applicants through Mufti Nisar Ahmed Qasmi Sahib , chief guest and Rector Daru ul Qasmia , Lal Bazar Srinagar.Addressing briefly before a selected gathering of local elders and youth on the importance of timely marriages ,Mufti Sahib warned that delayed marriages in our society is bound to causes various damages to our ethnic and moral well being . Before these damages actually happen, we should take all necessary measures to curb the evils of pomp &show and wasteful expenditures in our marriage ceremonies as these evils also contribute to delayed marriage syndrome . Imtiyaz Ahmed Shah on this occasion vowed to continue this social work under banner oF UK Foundation with the support of public more enthusiastically . The event ended with the Dua of Mufti Nisar shib
