A month ago, the wedding was scheduled for April 16th. The son-in-law gifted the girl a mobile phone, and they started talking regularly.
Then came a twist in the story. The boy’s chemistry with the mother-in-law started building more than with his fiancée, and it grew so strong that the girl disappeared from the wedding scene. The father-in-law works in Bangalore, meaning the mother-in-law was effectively married but living alone. When he came home recently, he noticed that the son-in-law would talk to the mother-in-law for hours.
Now, just nine days before the wedding, the mother-in-law has eloped with the son-in-law. She took with her all the money and jewellery saved for her daughter’s wedding.
But that’s not all. After running away, the son-in-law called the father-in-law and said, “You people have harassed and tortured her for 20 years. Now forget her forever. I’ve found the queen of my dreams. Don’t even try to find her.”
The mother-in-law and son-in-law seen in the photo are now lovers.
