Mohammad Ishaq Shah<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The darkest night does not scare me,<br \/>As much as the horrible hours of morning\u2019s wee.<br \/>I am not afraid of the devil in the night,<br \/>But I dread the spirit in the bright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I see the doctor\u2019s dilemma,<br \/>And the brave burglar\u2014O Maa!<br \/>I see the treacherous, truthful man in the making,<br \/>Slowly, this poison my breath is taking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Murder is the order of the day,<br \/>While the sun hides, they make their hay.<br \/>The humanly non-human is at his height,<br \/>And the poor lamp of morality is without light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am living in a fool\u2019s paradise,<br \/>Where the wise are the idiots, and the idiots are wise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Long ago, did Sheikh-ul-Sheikh proclaim:<br \/>\u201cThe time will come when the devil will be in God\u2019s frame.<br \/>The public will follow the pickpockets,<br \/>And commands will be in the hands of trinkets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That will be the law of the lawless,<br \/>The roses will feel colourless.<br \/>Apes will handle noble mankind,<br \/>And with padlocks, they will the world bind.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2014Mohd Ishaq Shah<\/em><br \/><em>Writer &amp; Poet<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u270d\ufe0f:.
