Baramulla : 21 Nov \/\/<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n PDP<\/em><\/strong> leader Mohd Rafique Rather in a strongly-worded statement, slammed the NC-led government for proposing an exorbitant and unjustified 20% surcharge on electricity during peak hours. The proposal, submitted by the Kashmir Power Development Corporation Ltd (KPDCL) to the government, has triggered deep concern among the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rafique Rather said the move exposes the government\u2019s complete insensitivity towards the economic hardships of the people. \u201cSince you have failed in fulfilling the poll promises you made, instead of mitigating the sufferings of people, you are now adding to their miseries.
