Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a terror outfit operating under its proxy name The Resistance Front (TRF), has issued a death threat against noted counter-terrorism expert Junaid Qureshi, the Director of the European Foundation for South Asian Studies (EFSAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The threat was delivered via an end-to-end encrypted messaging platform using the TRF banner, ABP News reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The message branded Qureshi a \u201ctraitor\u201d and said the group would have \u201cno hesitation\u201d in assassinating him. This marks the second such threat in the past six months against individuals who have publicly exposed Pakistan\u2019s proxy war in Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to ABP News, Junaid Qureshi alleged that Pakistan\u2019s intelligence agency, the ISI, orchestrated the threat, which was executed through Lashkar-e-Taiba and its commander, Sheikh Sajjad Gul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Qureshi said the threat letter contained references to sensitive details about a proposed Kashmiri intellectual think tank that were not publicly known and known only to a limited circle, indicating involvement of intelligence agencies.
