Srinagar, February 13: Advocate Maroof Khan Political Youth Leader has voiced deep concern over the recent remarks made by MLA Vikram Randhawa alleging that \u201cKashmiri Muslims have encroached 90% of JDA land.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement issued today, Maroof Khan said that while issues such as encroachment must certainly be addressed with seriousness and transparency, attributing them to any particular community is neither fair nor constructive. \u201cEncroachment is encroachment. It does not have a religion, a region, or a community. If there are violations, they must be dealt with strictly under the law but without generalising or collectively blaming any section of society,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that governance issues should remain within the framework of law and administration, not be framed in a manner that may hurt sentiments or create unnecessary divides. \u201cOur words as public representatives carry weight. They must heal, reassure, and guide not risk deepening social fault lines,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maroof Khan further said that Jammu & Kashmir\u2019s strength lies in its shared history, coexistence, and mutual respect among communities.
