Yasir Naik Demands Cath Lab at GMC Baramulla, Says: “How Many More Lives Must Be Lost?”

Baramulla: PDP Youth Leader Yasir Naik has demanded the urgent establishment of a Cath Lab at Associated Hospital, GMC Baramulla, raising concern over patients being forced to travel to Srinagar for critical cardiac care.

“How many more lives must be lost before Baramulla gets a Cath Lab?” Naik said, referring to another innocent patient from Baramulla who is currently on a ventilator at SKIMS after being shifted from Baramulla.

Naik questioned the continued delay in providing the facility, saying, “How many more deaths will it take to build one?”

He urged the authorities to treat the demand as an urgent healthcare priority and ensure that critical cardiac patients in Baramulla receive timely treatment closer to home.
