Baramulla, August 29:
The beloved cousin of PDP Youth Leader and District Youth President Baramulla Yasir Naik, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, a resident of Tawheed Gunj, Baramulla, passed away after suffering a heart attack.
Mushtaq Ahmad Mir was initially treated at Associated Hospital GMC Baramulla and was later referred to SKIMS, where he remained on a ventilator and life support for the past four days. Despite efforts to save his life, he passed away today.
Mushtaq Ahmad Mir was well known among the residents of Baramulla, particularly for his long association with and service to the transport community at Carriapa Park, Baramulla.
He was also remembered for his everyday acts of kindness. For years, he would help schoolchildren safely cross the road near Carriapa Park, along with assisting elderly people and others whenever needed.
His passing has left his family, relatives, friends, and members of the local transport community in deep grief. He was remembered as a kind-hearted person who maintained close relations with people and was always willing to extend a helping hand.
PDP Youth Leader Yasir Naik expressed deep grief over the demise of his cousin and said that Mushtaq Ahmad Mir’s kindness, simplicity, and years of service to people would remain alive in the memories of those who knew him.
The family has appealed to everyone to remember the departed soul in their prayers.
