Srinagar, Feb 11 (KNO): Reacting to the news reports about “something is cooking” between the National Conference and Bharatiya Janata Party, the NC on Tuesday said that it will never share the office with the saffron party.
Talking to the media persons, NC spokesman and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that the Chief Minister met the Union Home Minister yesterday. “He has met him in the past as well. There were no special arrangements this time as the CM can meet him anytime for the wellbeing of the people,” he said.
He said that the NC is against the policies of BJP and has fought the elections against it. “Those responsible for creating confusion will not be entertained by the party in the future,” he said.
However, he said that the working relation has always remained there with the Centre and it will continue to exist. “Let me make it clear that BJP and NC can never sit in one office.”
Pertinently, speculations have been rife that a significant political development is expected in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) as NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah has been in Delhi for the past four days, engaging in discussions with the top BJP leadership. “There is a strong possibility that NC may move closer to the BJP in the larger interest of J&K,” media reports claimed—(KNO)
