Imran Shah Slams PDP, BJP and Apni Party, Urges Workers to Strengthen NC at Grassroots

Anantnag, September 15: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah today chaired a meeting of party workers from the Anantnag constituency at Housing colony khanabal, and called upon them to act as the “eyes and ears” of the government by maintaining close contact with the people and bringing their issues and grievances to the attention of the concerned authorities.

Addressing the gathering, Shah emphasised the need to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and urged workers to intensify public outreach so that the concerns of the common people are effectively highlighted and addressed.

Shah strongly criticised the PDP, BJP and Apni Party, accusing them of politicising public grievances and sentiments instead of working towards meaningful solutions. He alleged that these parties have repeatedly sought to exploit public concerns for political gains rather than addressing the genuine issues faced by the people.

“Those who were part of the government and enjoyed positions of power cannot now absolve themselves of responsibility. They must explain why the aspirations and concerns of the youth were ignored when they had the opportunity to act,” Shah said.

He further alleged that the PDP and BJP itself was responsible for many of the problems confronting Jammu and Kashmir today and should be held accountable for its past decisions and policies. According to Shah, the party’s political missteps had contributed significantly to the present situation in the region.

Imran Shah also criticised the BJP, alleging that it remained focused on its “single-point agenda” of abrogating Article 370 while failing to adequately address pressing public issues, including unemployment, development concerns and the day-to-day problems faced by ordinary citizens.

Reiterating the party’s commitment to public welfare, Shah called upon workers to remain actively engaged with the people, listen to their concerns and work tirelessly to strengthen the party’s organisational structure at the grassroots level.

“The strength of our party lies in its connection with the people. Every worker must take responsibility for reaching out to the masses and ensuring that their voices are heard,” he added.
