In a powerful display of unity and outrage, citizens gathered today at the iconic Pulwama Clock Tower to protest the brutal gang-rape and murder of a young woman, an incident that has sent shockwaves across Kashmir. Staring Jasib Shabir, a well-known social activist and chairman of Rising Youth, Activist | Save Youth Save Future And Taleem Haq Hai Humara led a peaceful protest, voicing the collective grief and anger of the people.
Holding placards and chanting slogans, the crowd demanded swift and uncompromising justice, calling for the immediate execution of the culprits.
“This is not just a protest—it is a cry from the soul of Kashmir,” said Jasib Shabir. “We will not remain silent. The monsters who committed this horrific crime must be sentenced to death. There is no place for such predators in our society.”
Demonstrators emphasized that there can be no mercy, no forgiveness—only justice for the victim and her family. The protest concluded with a candlelight vigil and a pledge to continue raising their voices until justice is delivered.
The case has reignited urgent calls for stronger action on crimes against women in Jammu and Kashmir.
