Youth suicide is deeply painful and complex issue affecting families schools and communities around the world. it is one of the leading causes of death among adolescents and young adults. There are several common reasons and risk factors that can contribute to a young person’s decesion to end their life . *MENTAL HEALTH iSSUES One of the most significant factors in youth suicide is mental illness . Depression anxiety bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions severally affect how young people think and feel . Often they struggle silently fearing judgement or not knowing where to seek help. *FAMiLY PROBLEMS Difficult home environments including parental conflicts divorce abuse or neglect can leave a young person feeling unsafe or unloved . A lack of emotional support at home can increase feelings or isolation and despair .
*SUBSTANCE ABUSE
Drugs and alcohol can cloud the judgement and worsen mental health issues. Substance abuse can be Both a cause and symptom of deeper emotional pain increasing the risk of impulsive decesions including sucide .
*iDENTiTY STRUGGLES
Many youth struggle with questions about who they are especially those dealing with issues related to gender identity `fear of rejection or discrimination can lead to intense inner turmoil. This happens especially with those who look different than their gender.

it’s important for young people to know that they are not alone and that help is available. Life can be incredibly hard at times but things can get better with support `understanding and time
