The Poison of False Promises

✒️:. Himayu Hilal

A girl often carries her own private world and a powerful, unpredictable heart. At first sight, she may seem like the funniest, most cheerful person. But behind her smile, she can also hold a sharp emotional sting — a sting called promise.

I promise you, no bite in the world feels more poisonous than betrayal — not even a snake’s bite. So, be careful when you deal with a girl, especially when emotions are involved.

Some girls carry what I call the “one-sided hormone.” They awaken feelings in you but never share the same depth in return. I say this with respect: not all girls are the same. Yet many boys develop deep emotions that go unnoticed, while some girls dismiss them with ease.

A girl can be like the second face of destiny. She gives you the chance to dream, to fly, and then sometimes… to fall with your own broken wings. The journey of a man’s emotional world often begins when a woman touches his heart and awakens feelings he never knew existed.

Maybe without women, a man would never feel the true beat of his heart.

But here’s where I draw a line: I respect women — those who build, support, and nurture. Yet I struggle to understand those who play with emotions, who carry only attraction but lack empathy. I don’t hate women. What I hate is being deceived by false promises and empty affection.

I hope one day, every girl chooses to become a woman — someone strong, kind, respectful, and real. Someone who doesn’t poison emotions but heals them.

I say this not out of hate, but from hurt. I seek justice not through revenge, but through honesty. My hope is that girls will grow into women — and leave behind the pain they sometimes cause.
