JKJDF places on record its appreciation for the professional and dignified conduct of officers of CIK Srinagar. As a responsible political party, JKJDF believes in cooperation with institutions and remains ready to extend full cooperation within the framework of law.
At the same time, the timing and broader pattern of these actions raise an important question. Are outdated political tactics being revived to marginalize emerging political voices. History carries painful reminders of such practices.
JKJDF states clearly that no individual or political entity has the moral or legal authority to criminalize its political existence. JKJDF is a constitutional, transparent, and people focused party. It has nothing to hide and nothing to fear. Its politics rests on truth, accountability, and commitment to the people of Jammu and Kashmir under the Constitution of India.
The party firmly stands with the people and rejects any politics based on intimidation, suspicion, or selective targeting. Such actions create fear, cause psychological stress, and widen the gap between institutions and the public.
JKJDF respectfully urges the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, Union Home Minister Amit Shah Ji, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Sahab to take cognizance of the matter and intervene.
Any effort to suppress democratic participation through indirect pressure must stop immediately. History shows that silencing voices weakens democracy and exposes those who fear it.
