Respected Sir,
I am writing in my capacity as State President, All India Students’ Union (AISU), J&K (UT) to seek urgent clarification regarding the contradictory eligibility criteria being applied in recent Junior Resident (JR) and Demonstrator recruitments at GMC Rajouri.
It has been observed that serving Junior Residents are being declared eligible for Demonstrator posts, while doctors who have already completed their JRship are being declared ineligible for JR posts. This selective application of rules results in unequal treatment of similarly qualified candidates and raises serious concerns regarding fairness and transparency.
Such non-uniform criteria appear arbitrary and contrary to the principle of equal opportunity under Article 14 of the Constitution of India, particularly impacting unemployed medical graduates.
AISU respectfully requests:
- Immediate clarification of the eligibility criteria
- Uniform application of recruitment rules
- Appropriate corrective measures for affected candidates
We are not opposing recruitment, but seeking fair, transparent, and uniform implementation of rules.
We request your kind and prompt intervention.
Yours sincerely,
Nida salma
State President
All India Students’ Union (AISU)
Jammu & Kashmir (UT)
