3 Juveniles Escape from Observation Home in R.S. Pura; Alert Sounded

Jammu: Three children in conflict with law escaped from the Juvenile Observation Home in R.S. Pura and fled with a motorcycle, official sources said on Monday evening.

They told GNS that an information was received at Police Station R.S. Pura regarding the escape. “Two of the juveniles have been identified as Karanjeet Singh alias Goga, son of Arjun Singh, a resident of Dablehar in R.S. Pura, and Mohd Sanaullah, son of Mohd Zaffer, a resident of Basti Jawewala, Tehsil Dinpur, District Muzaffargarh, Punjab, Pakistan,” they said adding the third juvenile has not yet been identified.

The trio, they said, fled from the facility along with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AQ-5496.

“A case has been registered and a search operation launched, even as alert sounded at all nakas and checkpoints in the area and adjoining jurisdictions.”

“The public have been urged to share any information regarding the whereabouts of the juveniles or the motorcycle with the nearest police station,” they added. (GNS)
