Jammu & Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian’s Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas Mosavi has voiced serious concern over the persistent neglect of the residents of Mir Behri Dal, stating that no community should be deprived of its constitutional rights, dignity, or basic civic facilities.
He said that while the protection of Dal Lake is essential, development and environmental conservation must go hand in hand with the welfare and rights of the local population. He urged the Government and all concerned authorities to address the long-pending issues of the area by ensuring better infrastructure, clean drinking water, healthcare, education, road connectivity, and other essential public services.
Reaffirming Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian’s unwavering support for the people of Mir Behri, Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas said the organisation will continue to stand with the residents in their peaceful and democratic struggle for justice, equal opportunities, and a life of dignity. He expressed hope that the Government would take timely and compassionate measures to ensure that the people of Mir Behri are included in the region’s progress and are no longer left behind.
