Baramulla Police Seek Public Assistance to Trace Family of Deceased Labourer

Baramulla Police have issued a Hue and Cry Notice seeking public assistance in tracing the family members or legal heirs of a deceased person whose identity and address have been established, but whose relatives could not be contacted despite sustained efforts.
The deceased has been identified as Michin @ Musa, S/o Anjila, R/o Gaipora Murmuring, Tehsil Assai, District Guwahati, Assam, aged about 23 years.
He reportedly sustained a fatal electric shock while working at a private ice cream factory at Gofbal Devbug, Kunzer, on 29 July 2026. He was shifted to PHC Kunzer, where doctors declared him brought dead. Legal proceedings have been initiated, and the investigation is in progress.
Despite all possible efforts by Police Station Kunzer to trace and contact his family members, no contact has been established so far.
Baramulla Police appeal to the general public, particularly residents of Assam, or anyone having information about the deceased or his family, to immediately contact Police Station Kunzer or the nearest police station so that the legal formalities can be completed and the deceased’s family informed at the earliest.
