NEW DELHI: President of the Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-E-Sharie Shian, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, is scheduled to attend an interaction with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr Masoud Pezeshkian, in New Delhi today.
Aga Syed Hassan has been invited by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to India, H.E. Dr Mohammad Fathali, to participate in an informal gathering of religious leaders and intellectuals with the Iranian President.
According to the invitation extended by the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi, the interaction will be held this evening at The Oberoi Hotel, New Delhi, followed by a dinner reception.
The gathering is expected to provide an opportunity for an exchange of views between President Pezeshkian and prominent religious, intellectual and social representatives on matters of mutual interest, including issues concerning the wider Muslim world.
Aga Syed Hassan will attend the programme as a prominent religious leader from Jammu and Kashmir. His participation provides an opportunity for engagement and dialogue with the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Iranian President Dr Masoud Pezeshkian is currently in New Delhi in connection with his visit to India and participation in the BRICS Summit.
