Ayaz Darwi Meets Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor; Seeks Major Development Initiatives and Regulation of Education Consultancies in J&K

Srinagar, August 1: Ayaz Darwi today called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor at Raj Bhavan and held a detailed discussion on several important developmental, public welfare, and education-related issues concerning the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

During the meeting, Ayaz Darwi strongly advocated for the strengthening of healthcare infrastructure at Wagoora Hospital by ensuring adequate medical staff, modern facilities, and improved healthcare services for the local population. He also urged the establishment of a Fire & Emergency Services Station at Wagoora to enhance emergency response and public safety in the area.

Highlighting the concerns of the farming community, Ayaz Darwi requested the early completion of the Ningli Nallah Irrigation Project, stating that its timely execution would significantly improve irrigation facilities and provide long-term relief to thousands of farmers in the region.

Raising an issue of growing public importance, Ayaz Darwi appealed to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor to introduce a comprehensive regulatory framework for education consultancies operating across Jammu & Kashmir. He emphasized that proper regulation is essential to ensure transparency and accountability, protect students from fraudulent and unethical practices, and promote genuine, qualified, and responsible education consultants working in the interest of students.

The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor gave a patient hearing to all the issues presented and assured Ayaz Darwi that the matters raised, particularly the proposal for regulating education consultancies, would be examined sympathetically and given due consideration in the larger public interest.

Speaking after the meeting, Ayaz Darwi expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor for his positive response and reaffirmed his commitment to continuously raising issues related to public welfare, infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and the overall progress of Jammu & Kashmir. This version is written in a professional political news style suitable for newspapers, television media, and official party circulation.
