As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen security, surveillance and preventive policing, Baramulla Police today conducted a security review in the Chandoosa area.
During the review, the existing CCTV camera coverage and accessibility in the area were assessed, with emphasis on strengthening surveillance and ensuring effective monitoring of vulnerable locations.
SIM vendors operating in the area were also checked to verify compliance with prescribed procedures regarding maintenance of subscriber records and proper verification of customers. Necessary directions were issued to ensure strict adherence to applicable guidelines and timely updating of records.
Baramulla Police reiterated that regular security reviews, verification measures and effective surveillance mechanisms are integral to maintaining a secure environment and strengthening the overall security grid across the district.
