The School Management wishes to address certain messages currently circulating in the public domain regarding an alleged incident connected with the institution and its leadership.
The School Leadership appeals to all stakeholders of education, wellwishers of the School, educationists, scholars, academicians, intellectuals and our civil society to exercise their worthy role towards maintaining peace, goodwill, probity in social behaviour & responses. The school & its leadership deeply & apologetically regret for this unwanted confusion if there is any in our Great & Grand DPS Baramulla Family.
At the outset, it is important to state that the content being shared is not a true reflection of facts and appears to have arisen out of misunderstanding and selective interpretation of events. The situation has unfortunately been presented in a manner that does not align with the school’s established values and practices.
Parents have always been behind us, and it is their kind help, support and blessings that we have reached to this height of success in all walks of children’s school life & learning.
Strong malicious intentions of certain parents who have their vested interests are giving it a communal color. No institution can afford to oblate the significance of its quality norms, regulations and the interests of each single stakeholders equally and honestly. We all should understand it in the larger interests of our children and society.
The school has always upheld the highest standards of respect for all faiths, traditions, and sensitivities, which form the very foundation of our educational environment. Our institution takes pride in nurturing an atmosphere where dignity, mutual respect, and harmony are integral to everyday learning. With the incessant and full-blooded support from our Esteemed Parents community, the school organisation has been able to establish sound, strong and inclusive ethical standards here in the valley towards setting enviable trends in the field of School Education. Service Before Self and the Dignity & Honour to the essence of Education have always been the touch-stone of our Philosophy of Education.
An isolated situation earlier in the day led to avoidable confusion at the school premises, which is being viewed out of context. We believe that, in emotionally sensitive matters, clarity and calm understanding are essential.
We sincerely appeal to all parents and members of the community to uphold the sanctity of education and the learning environment, and to ensure that schools continue to remain spaces of stability, trust, and positive engagement for our children.
The school values its long-standing relationship with parents and the community, and remains dedicated to transparent communication, balanced understanding, and collective responsibility in the interest of every child’s growth and well-being.
To cap, we request everyone to exercise discretion and responsibility while engaging with any information, and to support an environment that strengthens unity, mutual respect, and educational purpose.
