Ex LJP District President Baramulla Resigns, Levels Financial Misconduct Allegations Against Party Leader

Baramulla, June 8: Former District President of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) in Baramulla, Musaib Hassan Lone of Sheeri, has announced his resignation from the party, stating that he stepped down on June 5, 2026 following alleged misconduct by certain party leaders.

In a statement, Lone alleged that Majloon Ahmad Dar, Kashmir Province President of LJP, had requested him to transfer money to a personal bank account, claiming that the funds were needed for party-related purposes. Lone said that he transferred the amount in good faith for refreshment expenses related to individuals he had brought into the party.

He further claimed that after the transfer was made, responsibility for the funds was later denied. Lone stated that he possesses bank transfer screenshots and other documents which he says support his claims, adding that additional evidence may be made public in the future.

Lone urged party workers and the public to exercise caution while making financial contributions and emphasized the need for transparency and proper authorization in party-related financial matters.
