J&K Govt Teacher missing from Census duty found dead

AKHNOOR, June 10: A Government Teacher, who had been reported missing on June 5 while on Census duty, was found dead in the Ranbir Canal near Bathra area today & has been identified as Vikram Chand Sharma, who was posted at MS Gurha Jagir

State Disaster Response Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police recovered his body from the Ranbir Canal near Bathra after extensive serach operation after missing report was filed by Wife.

While the body has been shifted for a post-mortem examination, an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding his death. (CTN)
