BARAMULLA (October 20, 2026) — The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) District Baramulla today convened an extensive organisational review meeting at Dak Bungalow Baramulla to assess grassroots functioning, strengthen party cadres, and chart out future political strategies across the district.
The meeting was presided over by Former Law Minister and JKPDP General Secretary, Adv. Abdul Haq Khan, in the esteemed presence of Former Law Minister Syed Basharat Bukhari, MLA Kupwara Mir Fayaz, District President Baramulla Mohd Rafique Rather, and Former MLA Shoaib Nabi Lone.
The gathering witnessed overwhelming participation from all District Office Bearers, Zonal Office Bearers, party delegates, and constituency in-charges from across District Baramulla.
Addressing the participants, General Secretary Adv. Abdul Haq Khan underscored the importance of a robust organisational structure at the booth and zonal levels. He urged the leadership and grassroots workers to intensify their public outreach programs, listen actively to the day-to-day grievances of the people, and stand firmly in advocating for their rights and welfare.
Speaking on the occasion, Former Law Minister Syed Basharat Bukhari and senior leaders MLA Mir Mohammad Fayaz, Shoaib Nabi Lone, Adv. Shaista Parveen, Irfan Ali, Altaf Malik, and Er. Muneer,DYP Yasir Naik, Er Razia DP womens wing, Prof sheikh Mohinud Din, YZP Hilal Sultanpuri, Asifa Aara.
Proceedings were conducted by Distt Secretary Shafi Pakeeza.
Speakers on the occassion emphasized the need for unity, discipline, and dedicated efforts to fortify the party’s base. They lauded the unwavering commitment of the Baramulla workers and called upon them to carry the party’s pro-people vision and developmental agenda to every household in the district.
District President Baramulla Mohd Rafique Rather presented a detailed overview of the party’s ongoing organisational activities across all constituencies of the district. He thanked the senior leadership for their guidance and assured them that the Baramulla unit remains fully mobilized, united, and committed to strengthening the JKPDP at the grassroots level.
During the interactive session, constituency in-charges, zonal presidents, and delegates shared valuable feedback and suggestions regarding local issues and party affairs. The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to work with renewed vigor and coordination to serve the people of Baramulla.
